Joining forces with one of the art world’s biggest names to fight global hunger
We partnered with the legendary artist, David Datuna, to “Take A Bite Out of Hunger” and position Dole as a leader in not only driving innovation, but also doing good for the world.
Objectives:
I
Drive awareness of Dole’s mission to fight food insecurity and malnutrition worldwide
II
Raise money for our charity partner, The Boys & Girls Clubs of America
III
Create a buzz-worthy moment that’s innovative and garners attention
Our partnership with David Datuna drove buzz far and wide as he is most known for eating the $120,000 banana at Art Basel Miami in 2019.
The five-part Dole x Datuna NFT series highlights the link between nutrition and food insecurity as part of Dole’s “Promise” campaign to provide access to nutrition.
The NFT series dropped on Rarible in May, 2021 for a two week period where auctioneers could purchase the NFT with proceeds donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
Handled all promotional content creation with a 1 day shoot in New York (turned around in 5 days!) developing stylized assets for social media

Wy It Mattered
As testament to the partnership’s boundary-pushing creativity, the series garnered powerful press across the worlds of art, tech, and beyond
