Netflix’s Let’s Get Loud Studio: Overview
To celebrate the launch of J.Lo’s new documentary, Halftime, Netflix took over the iconic Millennium Dance Complex (MDC) Studio X space for three days in June, timed to the release of the documentary on Netflix, and created the Let’s Get Loud Studio.
The Let’s Get Loud Studio was equipped with everything from bedazzled cups (inspired by the one J.Lo carries!), branded merch, a Waiting For Tonight-inspired photo booth and more.
The three-day activation was filled with FREE J.Lo-inspired dance classes taught by renowned choreographers, including: Kaycee Rice, Kiel Tutin, Sienna Lalau and Nicole Kirkland.
The four hero, advanced classes were filmed and edited to create 4x hero YouTube videos set to some of J.Lo’s top songs and were distributed on MDC’s YouTube channel, as well as all partners’ social media.
Two (2x) of the classes were even live streamed to extend the reach of the studio beyond LA, receiving views and visitors from countries like Denmark, Mexico and more.
